Junior UI UX Designer

Job Description

Shift Timing: 11:30 AM 9:00 PM

We re looking for a creative and detail-driven Junior UI/UX Designer with strong proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of UX laws and usability principles. You ll work closely with the product and engineering teams to design intuitive, modern and scalable interfaces for our SaaS platform. The role requires hands-on UI design, user experience problem-solving and contribution to design systems.

Design Tools: Figma (Auto-layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping)

Research + UX: User flows, Journey mapping, UX heuristics, Usability testing

Design Systems: Atomic design, Component libraries, Tokens

Collaboration: Linear / Teams (for handoff documentation)

• Design clean and modern UI layouts for web-based SaaS applications

• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and interactive mockups in Figma

• Apply UX laws (Fitts s Law, Hick s Law, Jakob s Law, Miller s Law, etc.) to solve usability problems

• Work with product managers to translate business requirements into intuitive experiences

• Support creation and maintenance of a scalable design system (components, typography, colors, tokens)

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation and consistency

• Conduct basic user research and usability testing to validate design assumptions

• Iterate on designs based on data, user feedback and usability insights

• Prepare design specifications and create assets required for development

• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, design standards and best practices

• 1 3 years of UI/UX design experience, preferably working on SaaS or enterprise products

• Strong command of Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping and design systems

• Good understanding of UX laws, heuristics and basic accessibility guidelines

• Ability to create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UIs and interaction prototypes

• Strong visual design skills, layout sense and attention to detail

• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design patterns

• Ability to clearly present design rationale and defend decisions with logic and UX principles

• Passionate about usability, clarity, simplicity and user-first design

• Able to explain UX laws and apply them to real product decisions

• Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback constructively

• Curious, proactive and willing to iterate multiple times to refine experience

• Interested in product thinking and understanding how users behave

• Eager to grow into a mid-level designer through continuous learning and mentorship
