Job Description
A Dhurin data engineer adds value by for converting raw data into usable information for the two pillars of Insight and Prediction as well as Diagnostic and Description . In this role, you will be part of the team that brings together data from various client systems and patches it together for consumption of the teams from two pillars.
You will ensure an accurate and efficient data supply to the users. In turn this will help decision-makers find cost savings and optimization opportunities. A project may involve building data-pipeline or maintaining the existing set-up or even building or setting up entire data-lake or data marts.
You will often work directly with the clients tech teams and perhaps with business stakeholders. The ability to collaborate, bringing a solution mindset to work, and being on top of the technology landscape is essential for this role to succeed.
You will
- Analyze and organize raw data from different sources
- Build data systems and pipelines
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
We expect you to have
- Good exposure to at least one of AWS, GCP and Azure
- Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
- Programming knowledge (Java and Python)
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design
- Degree in computer Science, IT, or similar field
We will be super happy if you have
- A data engineering certification (such as IBM Certified Data Engineer)
