Job Description

Role Overview: The Senior Software Engineer will support current and future-state billing and invoicing capabilities as part of a billing modernization program. This role focuses on backend development and integrations, ensuring seamless transition from incumbent vendors and alignment with the clients transformation roadmap.

Technical Skills

Java, Spring Boot
REST & SOAP APIs, GraphQL
GCP services including Apigee
Event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, messaging)
CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices

Key Responsibilities

Support and enhance billing and invoicing backend systems for current and future business needs
Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding to ensure continuity during vendor transition
Design, develop, and maintain production-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Build and support API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) between Credit systems and the billing platform
Develop event-driven solutions using Pub/Sub and messaging architecture
Collaborate closely with Credit engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders
Review, comment on, and approve code contributions; uphold engineering best practices
