Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong banking domain knowledge to design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance applications for our digital banking platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and a solid understanding of banking processes, products, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain banking applications such as internet banking, mobile banking, payments, onboarding, KYC, and loan/credit systems.

Build scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot for customer onboarding, transactions, account services, and regulatory reporting.

Develop and consume REST APIs to integrate with core banking systems (CBS), payment gateways, wallet services, and third-party vendors.

Work closely with business analysts to translate banking workflows into technical requirements.

Implement security best practices including encryption, authentication, authorization, tokenization, and compliance with industry standards (PCI-DSS, AML, KYC).

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality, secure releases.

Troubleshoot production issues in transaction flows, payment failures, and performance bottlenecks.

Work with relational databases and NoSQL systems to handle large volumes of customer and transaction data.

Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations, audit requirements, and internal IT governance.
