Test Engineer

Language Requirement: Bilingual JLPT N4/N3+

Core Skills: Manual Testing, Automation Testing (Microsoft Playwright), Performance Testing (LoadRunner), Security Testing (DAST)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual with strong leadership and technical expertise in software testing and quality assurance to lead the OSA Testing Integration team under the Capacity Model. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing using Microsoft Playwright, performance testing using LoadRunner, and security testing using DAST tools, along with Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N4/N3+) to manage global client engagements and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage testing teams across manual, automation, performance, and security testing domains.
Define and implement testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
Collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
Ensure integration of testing activities within CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows.
Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Manage project timelines, risks, and resource allocation effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

Testing Expertise:

Strong experience in manual testing of enterprise applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Playwright for automation testing
Hands-on experience with LoadRunner for performance testing
Familiarity with DAST tools for dynamic security assessments

Language Skills:

Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N4/N3+ level
Experience working with Japanese clients and multicultural teams

Leadership & Management:

Proven experience in managing QA teams and client engagements
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to lead technical discussions and make strategic decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
JLPT certification N4 or higher.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools like Jira
