Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Location: Wadala (West), Mumbai
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: IT Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line support to internal staff via phone, email, or in person.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and IT equipment.
Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connections, and related equipment.
Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up workstations and accounts.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, support requests, and resolutions.
Coordinate with vendors and external support services when necessary.
Support remote work setups including VPN, remote desktop, and collaboration tools.
Ensure data security and perform regular system backups.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macros operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.
