Job Description

Inventory Management: Overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including planning, procurement, receiving, storage, and distribution.Inventory Tracking: Implementing systems and processes to track inventory levels accurately, including the use of inventory management software and barcode systems.Replenishment: Monitoring stock levels and determining when to reorder products to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and condition of items in inventory, including conducting periodic inspections and managing returns or disposals of defective goods.Inventory Accuracy: Regularly reconciling physical inventory counts with system records to identify discrepancies and taking corrective actions.Supplier Relations: Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules to optimize inventory turnover.Cost Control: Minimizing carrying costs, including storage, insurance, and financing costs, by optimizing inventory levels and turnover.Demand Forecasting: Using historical data and sales trends to forecast future demand and plan inventory accordingly.
