Job Description

An Inspection Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of products, processes, or systems within their industry. They inspect, test, and evaluate equipment, materials, and procedures to identify and rectify defects, deviations, or non-compliance issues. Key Responsibilities : Inspection and Testing : Conduct inspections and tests on equipment, components, or products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Use various tools, instruments, and techniques to perform inspections, such as visual inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), and measurements. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including photographs and measurements. Prepare inspection reports and documentation to report findings and recommendations for corrective actions. Compliance and Regulation : Ensure that all inspections adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes in relevant regulations and standards to maintain compliance. Quality Control : Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and address quality issues and non-conformities in products or processes. Provide input for process improvement and corrective actions. Safety Assurance : Monitor safety protocols and procedures to ensure they are being followed, identifying potential hazards, and suggesting improvements.
