Novel Office is looking for In - House litigation Counsel to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

Client representation : You will act as the legal representative for clients involved in civil or criminal cases. This involves understanding and advocating for their legal position, gathering evidence, and presenting arguments in court. Case assessment and strategy : You will analyze the facts, laws, and legal precedents related to a case to assess its strengths and weaknesses. Based on this assessment, you will develop a litigation strategy that maximizes your client's chances of success. Pleadings and documentation : You will prepare and file various legal documents, including complaints, petitions, motions, and responses. These documents outline your client's claims or defenses and provide the court with relevant information and legal arguments. Discovery process : You will engage in the discovery process, which involves gathering evidence through methods such as depositions, interrogatories, requests for documents, and requests for admissions. You will review and analyze the evidence obtained from both sides to build a strong case. Courtroom representation : You will represent your clients during court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals. This includes presenting oral arguments, examining and cross-examining witnesses, and introducing evidence to support your client's case.
