Job Description

Job Location : Vidyavihar

Shift : Mid Shift / Night Shift

Summary/Objective:

1. Conducting a rate comparison between different freight forwarders and shipping lines.

2. Checking container availability for shipments.

3. Providing support with ISF (Importers Security Filing) documents.

4. Generating container filling reports and preparing Bill of Lading (BOL) documents.

5. Verifying and reviewing documents based on the respective commodities being shipped.

6. Uploading health certificates for products such as rice and frozen goods.

7. Ensuring all required documents are properly uploaded.

8. Assisting with the completion of packing slips, BOL, and coordination with the customs broker.

9. Creating two sets of documents for customs officers and warehouse personnel.

10. Tracking the expected time of arrival (ETA) for shipments and coordinating with the customs broker if there are any delays.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
