Job Description
Role Overview: The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, primarily on AWS, with exposure to OCI. The focus is on repeatability, security, compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and operational reliability through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. in AWS environments
- Develop reusable, modular IaC components for VPCs, compute, storage, IAM, S3, networking, and security
- Automate environment provisioning (Dev / Test / Prod / DR) using code
- Implement security, tagging, and governance standards directly within IaC
- Integrate IaC with CI/CD pipelines and Gitbased workflows
- Support DRready infrastructure designs and rebuild scenarios
- Work closely with cloud, security, and platform teams for operational readiness
Required Experience & Skills:
- 57 years of handson Infrastructure as Code experience
- Strong, proven experience with Terraform and CloudFormation (enterprise usage)
- Solid experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using IaC
- Good understanding of:
- AWS networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups)
- IAM roles, policies, and leastprivilege access
- Compute, storage, and load balancing concepts
- Experience working with version control (Git) and structured code reviews
- Ability to work in enterprise-scale, regulated environments
