Job Description
Hydrology expert Someone who can guide the Integrated flood resilience project.
Integrated Flood Resilience is a project wherein we study the topography and devise solutions to manage excess water for livelihoods. We use connected techniques/ processes surface drainage, sub-surface drainage and bio drainage. The water is then used for agriculture, fisheries, plantations and recharge groundwater.
The project has evolved over time using traditional knowledge of farmers and fishermen. We need it to be driven by scientific methods so as to make if effective. This would help us replicate the projects to other regions.
