House Manager

Location: Walkeshwar, Mumbai

Household: Private Residence (Family of 4)

Reporting to: Principal / Family Office

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a prominent HNI residence in Walkeshwar. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for all domestic affairs, ensuring the household runs with the precision, discretion, and service standards of a 5-star luxury hotel.

1. Staff Leadership Management

• Directly supervise and coordinate a full domestic team, including the Chef, Butlers, Housekeeping, and additional support staff.

• Create duty rosters, manage performance, and conduct training to ensure consistent service excellence.

• Foster a professional and harmonious working environment.

2. Operational Excellence

• Oversee day-to-day household operations to ensure the residence is always "guest-ready."

• Maintain a hands-on approach, stepping in operationally during staff absences or high-pressure events to ensure zero service gaps.

• Implement and maintain rigorous SOPs for hospitality-grade service.

3. Food, Hygiene Safety

• Enforce strict food hygiene protocols and zero-contamination standards within the kitchen and pantry areas.

• Collaborate with the Chef on menu planning, dietary requirements, and formal table service.

4. Administrative Vendor Coordination

• Manage household procurement, including groceries, supplies, and luxury inventory.

• Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams for estate repairs and specialized services.

• Maintain inventory logs and manage household budgets/expenses with transparency.

• Background: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is highly preferred.

• Experience: Proven experience managing luxury HNI residences, private estates, or high-end boutique hospitality operations.

• Skill Set: Exceptional staff management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Personal Attributes: Impeccable grooming, high emotional intelligence, and absolute discretion.

• Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi; ability to communicate effectively with both the Principal and the domestic staff.

• Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.

• Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Walkeshwar, Mumbai.
