Job Description

Position Summary

The Hindi Teacher for Classes III to V is responsible for developing strong foundational skills in Hindi language, including reading, writing, speaking, grammar, comprehension, and creative expression. The role focuses on making Hindi learning engaging, interactive, and culturally enriching while building confidence in communication and language usage.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about language teaching, skilled in handling primary learners, and capable of fostering love and appreciation for the Hindi language.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Instruction (Hindi Language Teaching)

  • Teach Hindi to Classes III, IV, and V as per CBSE curriculum guidelines.
  • Develop students skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Hindi.
  • Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing abilities.
  • Promote correct pronunciation, diction, and fluency in Hindi language.
  • Use stories, poems, essays, and dialogues to enhance language learning.
  • Ensure timely completion of syllabus and academic objectives.

2. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Delivery

  • Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
  • Design worksheets, assignments, dictation exercises, and writing tasks.
  • Integrate storytelling, role play, recitation, and interactive language activities.
  • Use visuals, charts, flashcards, and audio-visual tools for better understanding.
  • Differentiate instruction based on student learning levels.

3. Language Development & Skill Building

  • Build strong foundational reading and writing skills in Hindi.
  • Develop vocabulary, sentence formation, and grammar usage.
  • Improve handwriting, spelling accuracy, and expression skills.
  • Encourage spoken Hindi fluency and confidence in communication.
  • Promote correct usage of matras, shabd, and vakya structure.

4. Cultural & Literary Engagement

  • Foster appreciation for Hindi literature, poetry, and storytelling.

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and language-rich classroom environment.
  • Encourage active participation in Hindi speaking and writing activities.
  • Promote confidence in language use without fear of mistakes.
  • Maintain discipline while ensuring an engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Foster curiosity and enjoyment in learning Hindi.

7. Creative & Experiential Learning

  • Conduct storytelling, role play, dramatization, and recitation activities.

  • Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and academic discussions.
  • Provide feedback on reading, writing, and speaking development.
  • Suggest home-based practice for language improvement.
  • Build strong home-school collaboration for student success.

10. Technology Integration

  • Use Smart Boards, digital content, and multimedia resources for Hindi teaching.

Required Qualifications


Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi or related discipline (mandatory).
  • B.Ed. (Primary/Elementary Education preferred or mandatory as per school norms).
  • Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / TTC) will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred.
  • Experience in teaching Hindi at primary level (Classes III–V).
  • Freshers with strong Hindi language proficiency and teaching aptitude may be considered.
