Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and drive the Human Resources function across multiple institutions, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives and business priorities.
• Oversee end-to-end HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee lifecycle management, and HR service delivery.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, organization development, employee engagement, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.
• Lead performance management, learning & development, employee relations, grievance handling, and culture-building programs to enhance employee experience.
• Drive HR process excellence through HRMS, people analytics, digital transformation, payroll coordination, and continuous process improvement.
• Build and mentor a high-performing HR team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

• Master's Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, MBA (HR), or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in the Education, Higher Education, EdTech, or Service industry will be preferred.
• Strong expertise in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and HR Compliance.
• Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll processes, HRMS/HRIS, and HR analytics.
• Proven ability to lead HR transformation initiatives, drive employee engagement, and partner effectively with senior leadership.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
