Job Description

Lead Department of minimum 6 people.

Customs Clearance & CHA Coordination

Monitor and apply relevant export incentive scheme to maximize operational and financial benefits.
Act as the primary point of contact for Custom House Agents (CHAs).
Ensure adherence to custom regulations , DGFT guidelines and import-export compliance norms.
Ensure issues related to HS code classification, valuation, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
Minimize delays, demurrage, and detention charges through proactive coordination.

Freight Negotiation & Carrier Management

Negotiate freight rates and service agreements directly with shipping lines, airlines, and logistics providers.
Optimize transportation costs and secure container/space allocations during peak seasons.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners and carriers.

Issue Resolution & Risk Management

Licensing & Government Liaison

Handle trade licensees and export incentive scheme such as Advance Authorization , EPCG , DFIA ,Duty Drawback and related programs.
Monitor Policy changes and ensure organizational compliance with applicable trade regulations.

Compliance, Audit & File Closure

Ensure accurate tracking of duty drawback claims, EGM/IGM matching , and license redemption processes.
Ensure compliance with custom regulations, Foreign trade policies and statutory requirements.
Supervise all trade documentation.
