Job Description

Role & responsibilities

EY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAS/KPIS: • Design and develop scalable backend systems using REST APIs and microservices architecture • Build and manage serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, CDK) • Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript • Implement telemetry workflows for monitoring system performance, availability, and reliability • Architect and support offline-first systems with robust data synchronization patterns (e.g., RxDB-like approaches) • Lead production support activities including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) • Drive system debugging, performance tuning, and stability improvements • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes • Integrate monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Sentry, Lumigo or similar) for observability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments • Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative development • Ensure quality through automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in backend development with REST APIs and microservices architecture • Hands-on expertise in AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, CDK) • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular • Experience in production support, incident management, debugging, and performance tuning. • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/logging, and offline-first data sync patterns.
