FPGA Linux/HAL Engineer For Software Defined Radios

Job Description

For our team in Mumbai we are looking for smart people with hands on experience to drive, innovate and develop next generation hardware solutions.

As an FPGA Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems Digital Signals Processing (DSP), GNU Radio, Software Defined Radio & FPGA programming.

• Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Develop the API flow for software defined radios in Linux, FPGA fabric and Hardware abstraction layer
• Design for Test software development for hardware in use. Working with Hardware engineers to build test programs for debugging.
• Resolve software problem reports, and utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs
• Work on Linux/HAL software and integration of them to make system APIs
• Develop transport layer and data communication/streaming over USB3.0, High speed Ethernet etc.
• Work individually or as part of a team.

• Experience in embedded software development.
• A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Master degree with specialization in Embedded systems will be given preference.
• Software Design experience integrating with hardware communication.
• Strong Experience with Verilog/VHDL synthesis and combining it with Linux blocks.
• Experience with Linux programming, Python, C/C++ is needed.
• Experience with hands-on debugging in the lab with power supplies, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
• Experience with DSP, FPGA, GNU Radio or Commercial Software Defined Radio.
