Food And Beverage Trainer

Job Description

The F&B Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering effective training programs for Food & Beverage teams across multiple locations. The role focuses on operational excellence, service standards, food safety, and team performance. This position requires excessive and frequent travel to company outlets to ensure consistent training implementation and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Plan, design, and conduct F&B training programs for service staff, supervisors, and managers across multiple locations
• Deliver training on:
• Service standards & guest experience
• F&B operations & SOPs
• Food safety & hygiene (FSSAI standards)
• Product knowledge & menu presentation
• Upselling, suggestive selling, and service etiquette
• Conduct on-the-job training, classroom sessions, workshops, and refresher programs
• Support new store openings with pre-opening and post-opening training

Performance & Evaluation

• Assess training needs through audits, observations, and performance reviews
• Evaluate trainees using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
• Identify skill gaps and recommend improvement plans
• Ensure training compliance and consistency across locations

Operations Support

• Work closely with F&B Operations, HR, and Store Managers to align training with business goals
• Update training modules and SOPs based on operational changes
• Support standardization of service and operational best practices

Travel & Coordination

• Travel extensively across assigned locations as per training schedule
• Ensure training coverage across all outlets within timelines
• Adjust training plans based on location-specific requirements

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of F&B operations and service standards
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills
• Ability to train diverse teams across multiple locations
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• High adaptability to frequent travel and changing environments
• Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language knowledge preferred
