Flavourist

Job Description

To develop new and unique flavours as per market and customer insights using latest flavor technologies and innovations.

Continuously upgrade / modify existing flavours to suit new areas of usage in the field of bakery, confectionery, beverages, snacks, pharma, ice cream and other food products.
The flavourist has to work in close collaboration with the marketing, analytical, application and innovation teams, to develop products as per customers requirements.
Creation of new flavours, formulations and reformulation of flavours and flavours matching projects.
Selecting the raw materials for flavour formulations.
Own the assigned projects and provide flavours as per defined consumer requirements, regulatory and manufacturing practices.
Creating cost effective versions of classical and new flavours for different applications.
Maintain formulation management system.
Provide technical support to production and lead customer visits for sales and technical support.
Application of advanced flavor technology like granulation, encapsulation, flavor modifier, preparation of masking agents etc.

Prerequisites:

Education -

M. Tech in Perfumery & Flavour Technology

Experience -

5-15 years of experience in Flavour creation
