FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Mumbai

Build robust financial systems, ensure compliance, enable cross-functional discipline, and provide insights that shape strategy and profitability.

The role blends leadership and analytical thinking; set up processes for scale while maintaining the agility required in an early-stage startup.

Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, and monthly MIS with actionable insights; Build dashboards that give real-time visibility into business health, unit economics, and category performance, to founders and investors with clarity and precision.

Create financial models that support new launches, pricing decisions, promotions, and long-term strategy.

Ensure complete compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and statutory regulations.

Coordinate all audits; implement internal controls and SOPs that safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.

Optimize working capital cycles across inventory, payables, and receivables; liaise with banks for credit lines, limits, and financial documentation.

Analyse SKU-level margins, contribution margin, and unit economics; Track key D2C metrics like CAC, LTV, ROAS, contribution margin, marketing payback, and inventory health.

Set up and maintain financial systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP tools; implement SOPs, drive automation, process improvement.

Work closely with supply chain, operations, marketing, marketplaces, and founders to align financial goals with business needs.
