Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, enabling data-

driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles

- Build and maintain financial models (revenue, cost, cash flow)

- Analyze variances vs. budget and prior periods

2. Reporting & Insights

- Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards

- Provide insights on revenue trends, cost drivers, and profitability

- Highlight risks and opportunities proactively

3. Business Partnering

- Work closely with departments (Operations, Commercial, HR)

- Translate financial data into actionable insights

- Challenge assumptions and improve cost discipline

4. Data & Systems

- Extract and analyze data from ERP / data warehouse

- Improve reporting automation (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity

5. Ad-hoc Analysis

- Support board packs and presentations

- Conduct scenario analysis (best/worst case)

- Assist in strategic initiatives and cost optimization

Requirements

Education

- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

- Professional certification (FMVA, CFA Level 1) is a plus

Experience

- 2–5 years in FP&A / Financial Analysis

- Experience in logistics or similar industries is a plus

Skills

- Strong Excel & financial modeling skills

- Experience with Power BI / Tableau

- Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Soft Skills

- Strong communication and storytelling with numbers

- Proactive and curious

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

What Success Looks Like in this role

First 30 Days

- Understand business model, KPIs, and reporting structure

- Deliver accurate monthly reports with minimal supervision

- Build relationships with key stakeholders

First 90 Days

- Independently manage reporting cycle

- Identify cost-saving or efficiency opportunities

- Improve one reporting/dashboard process

6 Months+

- Deliver insights, not just reports

- Be trusted for management-level analysis
