Job Description
Our Client a freight forwarding company needs -
Post : Export Customer Service Executive
Location : Belapur
Experience : Min 1 year and above
Qualification : Graduate
Salary : 25k to 50k
Key Responsibilities
- Handle export shipment bookings (FCL/LCL) as per customer requirements
- Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters and CHA for smooth execution
- Prepare and verify export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, Shipping Bill, etc.)
- Ensure timely submission of VGM, SI, and other required shipping instructions
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers on shipment status
- Manage customer queries, complaints, and provide effective resolutions
- Coordinate with destination agents/overseas offices for shipment handling
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and company SOPs
- Monitor vessel schedules, transit times, and suggest best routing options
- Maintain accurate records in system
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of export documentation and procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
- Problem-solving and customer handling skills
- Familiarity with shipping line portals and logistics software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- On-time shipment execution
- Customer satisfaction levels
- Accuracy in documentation
- Response time to customer queries
