Estimation and Billing Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project quotations based on drawings and specifications.
Review work orders, contracts, BOQs, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and coordinate with Design, Purchase, Site, and Accounts teams.
Prepare commercial proposals, tender documents, RA Bills, Final Bills, invoices, and related billing documentation.
Verify site measurements, executed quantities, material reconciliation, and subcontractor bills.
Process variations, extra items, claims, and rate analysis with required approvals.
Coordinate with clients for bill certification, payment follow-ups, query resolution, and retention release.
Maintain accurate billing, measurement, and commercial records.
Monitor project costs, receivables, profitability, and identify commercial risks or billing discrepancies.

Required skills

Knowledge of contract management, billing, quantity measurements or commercial operations
Basic understanding of variation claims and rate analysis.
Proficiency in MS Excel and project documentation.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage billing records, reports, and payment follow-ups.
Organized approach to handling multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualification

Degree/Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering or related field
Candidates with a strong learning attitude, adaptability and willingness to take ownership will be preferred. Necessary support and guidance will be provided to help the candidate succeed in the role.
