Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. ERP Requirements & Process Analysis
Understand and document as-is vs “to-be” business processes.
Elicit, validate, and document functional and non-functional ERP requirements.

2. ERP Implementation & Configuration
Lead configuration/customisation of ERP modules in line with approved requirements.
Ensure ERP integrations (modules / external systems / third-party add-ons) function properly.

3. Data Management & Migration
• Manage data migration / cleansing / mapping tasks; ensure data integrity.
• Define and enforce data governance practices in ERP (master data, roles, permissions etc.).

4. Testing & Quality Assurance
Create test plans, test cases; conduct unit, integration, system, UAT testing.
Track defects/issues; ensure fixes validated and regression-proofing done.

5. Support, Maintenance & Change Management
Handle post-go live support; triage issues and ensure timely resolution.
Manage change requests; assess impact, assist in prioritisation and implementation.

6. Stakeholder Communication & Training
Act as bridge between business users, technical teams, vendors/consultants.
Conduct user training; prepare user documentation / manuals / job aids.

7. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Monitor ERP usage, system performance metrics; ensure uptime / stability.
Identify bottlenecks; propose improvements for process efficiencies or system enhancements.

8. Compliance, Audit & Governance
Ensure ERP adheres to regulatory, financial, security, internal control, audit requirements.
Maintain configuration / process documentation for audit trails.

9. Team Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate cross-functional teams (business users, technical, vendors) for ERP projects and support activities.

10. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Prepare periodic status reports (weekly, monthly) on project progress, issue resolution, risk & mitigation, milestones.
Generate dashboards / KPIs for ERP usage, performance, adoption, downtime, system errors etc.

11. Infrastructure & Resource Management
Assess and ensure the ERP system’s infrastructure (servers, databases, network, backup, disaster recovery) supports performance, reliability, scalability.
