Job Description

We are seeking a sustainability specialist to join our growing team to work on the assessment, integration and communication of sustainability strategies and principles into our projects. The successful candidate shall work in-house with our team in Mumbai and remotely with the design teams of our global offices. Essential Skills Architect with Master s degree in sustainability applied to the built environment. IGBC AP credential and experience with the certification process. Proficiency in thermal and energy modeling, and daylight modeling. Knowledge of Honeybee Grasshopper for energy and daylight modeling. Strong graphical communication skills, particularly in data visualisation. Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and Adobe Suite (PS, AI, ID). Ability to multi-task with a strong commitment to timelines and deadlines. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Head of Sustainability to establish best practices and grow sustainability awareness and understanding across offices. Support the design team in understanding and implementing sustainability strategies throughout project development. Assist the design team with aspects relevant to certification processes, particularly IGBC. Conduct relevant environmental analyses (solar geometry, thermal modeling, daylight modeling) to support a fast-paced design environment. Prepare high-quality presentations for the environmental components of the firm s designs and communicate complex subjects simply. Coordinate with and review information from the wider design team, engineers, consultants, and client bodies. Experience and qualifications Completion of accredited Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field of study 2 4 years of post-graduate, professional experience as a Junior Designer Experience on built and ongoing projects would be a plus. Nice-to-have LEED AP or BREEAM credentials Foreign languages in addition to English Understanding of Life Cycles Assessment
