Electrician Installation

Job Description

• Cable routing, power and control cables termination in control panels, supply panels, field equipment, motors, etc., at the site.

• I/O testing with the Automation team

• Align, tune set of communication devices at the site

• Troubleshoot of wiring in case of any issue

• Commissioning support to the Automation team

• Report and resolve the site challenges with coordination of the Automation and electrical design team

• Make and share build electrical drawings after completion of the project

• Study the electrical drawings in advance.

• Coordinate with the Installation engineer to initiate the electrical wiring after the mechanical installation

• Coordinate and guide the contractor workforce to install cable trays, lay and cut cables, install field equipment as per layout, etc.

• Terminate cables in panel and field equipment as per electrical drawings

• Perform I/O testing at the site as per the process shared by the Automation team

• Support the Automation team during the commissioning phase

• Ensure correct ferrule, tagging, and labelling as per electrical drawing

• Provide electrical training to the customer s maintenance team

• Gain technical expertise to ensure First Time Right (FTR) installation

• Contribute to the electrical execution plan

• Identify trained man force from the contractor s team for wiring

• Train contractor s workforce for independent electrical installation

• Two years ITI course approved by the NCVT (National Council Vocational Training) Electrical

• Same as above

• 5+ years of experience in high-tension cables handling, panel termination, control wiring, field equipment wiring, etc.

• 3+ years of experience in projects installation in the intralogistics domain

• Engineering layout drawing reading, understanding and interpretations.

• Interpersonal Skills- team player, cohesive working wit CFT.
