Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Electrical).
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or industrial projects preferred.

Position Summary:

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, planning and engineering for pharmaceutical projects. The role involves preparing electrical design documents, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project execution from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Engineering

• Prepare electrical design calculations, load schedules, and power distribution schemes.
• Design HT/LT power distribution systems for pharmaceutical facilities.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, cable schedules, and earthing layouts.
• Design lighting systems, emergency lighting, and small power layouts.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications and datasheets.
• Perform cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit calculations.
• Design UPS, DG backup, transformer, and electrical room layouts.
• Prepare lightning protection and grounding system designs.

Documentation & Design

• Develop and review:
• Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Lighting Layouts
• Power Layouts
• Cable Routing Drawings
• Earthing Layouts
• Electrical Room Layouts
• Panel GA Drawings
• BOQ and Material Take-Offs
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and client requirements.
