Job Description
Early Years Program Coordinator
Location: Mumbai Day Care Center, Goregaon
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Pay: 48,000 - 60,000 INR (depending on experience
Working pattern: 8.30am-5.30pm, 9.30am-6.30pm, 10.30am-7.30pm and 11.30am-8.30pm (Monthly rotational shifts)
** Bonus paid when working the 11.30am shift **

We provide high quality care and education to children aged 0-6 years old.
We currently have an opportunity to join us in our Mumbai daycare center as a Program Coordinator.
Purpose of the Role
As a Program Coordinator your job will be to lead, mentor and inspire a team of teachers to deliver a world class educational program for our children, ensuring the teaching team provides a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Tasks
- Ensure childrens safety at all times
- Plan efficient staff deployment according to ratios
- Provide a stimulating and inviting environment to encourage independence and self motivation
- Supervise and lead a team of teachers to deliver our curriculum and ensure our teachers are providing a rich learning opportunities
- Lead our team of teachers to develop strong parent partnerships
- Model positive discipline techniques
- Record keeping
- Staff inductions
- Contribute to performance reviews of teachers
- When required, be the Designated Safeguarding lead
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions for continuous professional development

Essential Qualifications
- University Degree – Ideally in Education or Psychology
- Qualification in Early Years Care and Education/Nursery Teacher’s Training/Montessori Training
Experience Required:
- Early Years curriculum knowledge
- Experience of lesson planning for children aged 0-6 years old
- Leading teams through coaching and mentoring
- Staff deployment and rostering
- Leading educational programmes
- Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- Conducting audits and creating actions plans
- Soft skills: Patience, communication, teamwork and creativity
