Qualification

Graduate/Post Graduate (B.E/ B.Tech/BCA, MCA/M.Tech or equivalent)

Experience

• 6-8 years of overall IT / DevOps experience
  • Strong experience in BFSI / Payments / Fintech environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting 24x7, high-availability production systems

Position Objective / Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. DevOps Strategy & Leadership

• Define and drive DevOps strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and mentor DevOps engineers across application, cloud, and infrastructure layers
  • Establish DevOps best practices, standards, and governance

2. CI/CD & Automation

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for payment applications
  • Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes
  • Integrate quality gates, security scans, and approvals into pipelines
  • Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

3. Cloud & Container Management

• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Design and operate Kubernetes and containerized workloads
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation
  • Ensure scalability, resilience, and cost optimization

4. DevSecOps & Security

• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
  • Work closely with InfoSec to meet RBI, ISD, PCI DSS requirements
  • Implement secrets management, access controls, and audit logging
  • Support VAPT, SAR audits, and regulatory inspections

5. Monitoring, Reliability & Incident Management

• Implement monitoring and alerting for applications and infrastructure
  • Ensure proactive detection of performance, availability, and security issues
  • Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) and RCA
  • Improve system reliability using SRE principles

6. Release & Change Management

• Manage release planning and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary)
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL change management processes
  • Coordinate with development, QA, infra, and business teams

7. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and CI/CD documentation
  • Ensure MakerChecker approvals and audit trails for deployments
  • Maintain logs, deployment history, and configuration baselines

Technical Skills:

• Linux, Shell scripting
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Cloud: AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM), Azure (AKS)
  • IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch
  • Version Control: Git
