Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with experience to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain IT systems for users. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Windows, hardware, networking, troubleshooting, and IT support tools.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and applications.
Resolve user issues related to Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and connectivity issues.
Create, update, and resolve tickets through IT service management tools.
Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access requests.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
Install security updates, software patches, and required applications.
Maintain IT asset records and inventory.
Provide remote and on-site technical support.
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
Follow IT security, compliance, and company support procedures.
Maintain proper documentation of recurring issues and resolutions.
