Design Manager (Finishes) Commercial Fit-out
Location: Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 5+ Years
Industry: Corporate Interiors / Commercial Fit-out
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Design Manager Finishes with strong experience in corporate/commercial interior projects. The role involves managing design development, material selection, and execution coordination for high-quality office and commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and detailing of interior finishes for corporate fit-out projects
- Prepare and review working drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and project teams
- Ensure design compliance with client standards and corporate guidelines
- Manage material selection, approvals, and vendor coordination
- Support site team in resolving design and execution challenges
- Monitor project timelines and design deliverables
- Implement value engineering to optimize cost and quality
- Ensure smooth project handover and snag resolution
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior finishes and detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred)
- Good understanding of workspace planning and execution
- Strong coordination and communication skills
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in corporate office fit-outs / IT parks / commercial spaces
- Hands-on exposure to site execution and coordination
- Ability to handle fast-paced project environments
