Akademika Lab Solutions is expanding its engineering team and is looking for motivated, hands-on Development / Design Engineers to work on advanced technology systems for Defence, Education, and Industry Applications.

Location: Mumbai

Qualifications: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc

Streams: Computer Science, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechatronics, Instrumentation

CTC:

4 12 LPA (Based on qualification & experience)

OPEN ROLES

Development / Design Engineers across the following domains:

Core Electronics

Embedded Systems

Drones / UAVs

RF & Telecommunication

VLSI / Semiconductor

Electronics Production & Manufacturing

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, development, testing, and validation of systems
• Work on real-world, application-oriented engineering projects
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis at system and sub-system levels
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, firmware, and production teams
• Support prototype development, system integration, and field/lab testing
• Prepare technical documentation including design notes, test reports, and BOMs
• Assist in continuous improvement of product design, reliability, and manufacturability

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong fundamentals in core engineering concepts relevant to the role
• Hands-on approach to hardware, firmware, or system-level development
• Ability to read schematics, block diagrams, datasheets, and technical documents
• Basic understanding of development, testing, and validation workflows
• Familiarity with engineering tools and lab instruments
• Willingness to work on practical, real-world engineering systems

PREFERRED SKILLS

Electronics Engineer

• Experience in designing electronic equipment

Embedded Systems Engineer

• Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux
• Exposure to IoT protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP)
• Experience in designing embedded systems

Drone / UAV Engineer

• Knowledge of PX4 / ArduPilot
• Experience in Telemetry, FPV systems, or payload integration
• Experience in designing Drone Systems

RF & Telecommunication Engineer

• Exposure to SDR, GNSS, radar, or telecom equipment
• Experience in field testing or lab validation

VLSI / Semiconductor Engineer

• Exposure to EDA tools (ModelSim, Vivado, Quartus, etc.)
• Internship or project experience in VLSI
• Experience in designing VLSI / semiconductor systems
