About the Role
We are hiring a Deputy Manager – Fund Accounting to support fund administration, financial reporting, and client servicing for global investment funds. This role involves managing deliverables, ensuring quality, and working closely with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage day-to-day fund accounting activities and deliverables
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and investor reports
- Review capital calls, distribution notices, and schedules
- Calculate and review management fees, incentive fees, and other fund-related transactions
- Act as a primary reviewer to ensure quality and accuracy of team deliverables
- Engage with clients and relationship managers to manage expectations and service quality
- Monitor timelines and ensure all deliverables meet required standards
- Prepare reports and provide updates to management
- Drive process improvements and maintain operational efficiency
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals
- Support team development, performance management, and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations
Requirements
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification
- 6–8 years of experience in Fund Accounting
- Strong experience in Private Equity / Real Estate Funds
- Good understanding of financial markets and fund structures
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Yardi or similar fund accounting systems
- Strong client handling and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
