Job Description

A Data Analyst specializing in SQL, Snowflake, and Data Quality (DQ), responsible for transforming raw data into reliable business intelligence while ensuring the underlying data meets high standards of accuracy and completeness.

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Exploration: Write and optimize complex SQL queries (using CTEs, window functions, and multi-table joins) to extract insights from large datasets within the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
• Data Quality Management: Develop and implement DQ rules based on data profiling to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, or rule violations. Use tools like Snowflake Data Metric Functions (DMFs) to monitor data health.
• Pipeline & Model Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to design and maintain robust ELT pipelines and analytics-ready data models, such as star or snowflake schemas.
• Business Intelligence Reporting: Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to present actionable findings to stakeholders.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data dictionaries and lineage, to ensure transparency and traceability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency:
• Advanced SQL: Expertise in performance tuning and handling semi-structured data like JSON or XML.
• Snowflake: Experience with Snowflake's platform, including warehouse management and query profiling.
• DQ Tools: Familiarity with data quality frameworks, profiling tools, and anomaly detection.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured technical solutions.
