CSR Fund Raising Manager

We are currently looking for a business development manager to assist us in our business activities at SHIVAA NGO.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Developing funding priorities and plans in line with strategic objectives.

• Prospecting new partnership opportunities and develop existing relationships

• Obtain new sponsorship for fundraising events, including securing gifts in kind

• Leverage engagement opportunities, including assisting with community events

• Construct a relationship pipeline and enhance all fundraising income streams

• Conduct prospecting visits to Organization s Office to identify and prepare for upcoming funding opportunities.

• Represent the organization s business development interests at relevant meetings, events, and within resource mobilization or donor-specific peer networks

• Contribute to the expansion of the organization s consultant roster for key technical and bid preparation functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline combined with substantive work and field experience. High degree of passion for social work.

• Convert sales opportunities and work effectively in a target driven environment

• Develop relationships with new and prospective donors, involving travel

• Have the ability to work with minimal supervision and be self motivated

• Create presentations and proposals to potential sponsors and partners

• Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or marketing related discipline

• A proven track record of creating and converting commercial opportunities

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Ability to effectively communicate, persuade and coordinate the activities of multiple partners, including field-based staff

• Excellent technical skills in writing, editing, formatting, research, negotiation, and verbal communications

• Attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Willingness and ability to travel

• Working knowledge of a second language: Marathi, Hindi preferred
