Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
- Conduct cost planning and cost control throughout project lifecycle
- Review and analyze contractor quotations and bids
- Manage procurement processes and contract administration
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate variations, claims, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial terms
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts
- Conduct risk analysis related to project costs
Roles & Deliverables:
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation and validation
- Cost benchmarking and value engineering
- Vendor negotiation and cost optimization
- Monthly cost reporting (MIS)
- Final account settlement and closure
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction costing and estimation
- Expertise in contracts (FIDIC preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost management tools
- Good understanding of commercial and legal aspects of projects
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
Qualifications:
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil / EEE/ECE and MECH
- M.Tech / MBA (Construction Management / Quantity Surveying) Preferred
Industry Experience Preferred:
- Real Estate / Infrastructure / Industrial Projects/ Data Centers
- Experience with reputed consultancy firms preferred
