Designation: Head - Cosmetic Ingredients (Techno-commercial Role)

Role Overview:
The Head of Cosmetic Ingredients leads the strategic direction and technical excellence of the Cosmetic Ingredients division. This position is responsible for driving market expansion, increasing sales, and maintaining high technical standards across all cosmetic products. Reporting directly to the Country Head - Business Development, the incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance market presence and drive sales of cosmetic ingredients.
• Formulate long-term plans that align with organizational goals, emphasizing technical quality and innovation in the cosmetic sector.
2. Technical Oversight:
• Oversee product development activities, ensuring adherence to stringent technical standards and regulatory requirements in the cosmetics industry.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to support product innovation and differentiation in the market.
3. Market Expansion:
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth and profitability within the cosmetic sector.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including cosmetic companies, suppliers, and industry influencers.
4. Distribution and Supply Chain Management:
• Manage distribution and supply chain operations within the Cosmetic Ingredients division, optimizing efficiency and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
• Collaborate with SCM and other relevant departments to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
• Build and lead a high-performing team within the Cosmetic Ingredients division, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development strategies and initiatives.
• Generate regular reports providing insights into the performance of the Cosmetic Ingredients division, and leverage data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Cosmetology, or a related field.
2. 10-15 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the ingredients trading industry, with a focus on cosmetic ingredients.
3. Deep understanding of cosmetic regulations, product formulations, and industry trends.
4. Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies in the cosmetics sector.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
