Position Overview

As a Commodity Dealer, you will be responsible for advising clients on their commodity portfolios and driving brokerage revenue through client relationships. The role requires constant market monitoring, proactive client engagement, and ensuring all activities comply with regulatory standards. You will focus on lead generating, reactivation of inactive clients and dealing, delivering market insights and strategic advice.

Role & responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management: Advise clients on commodity portfolios, keeping them informed on market trends and updates.
Business Development: Generate new business through client references and outbound efforts.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their trading preferences are met.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all compliance and risk policies.
Client Communication: Provide regular updates on client orders, exposure, and market changes.
Client Reactivation: Make regular calls to inactive clients and organize meetings to reactivate them.
Daily Reporting: Update supervisors regularly on client activity and performance.
Market Knowledge: Stay constantly updated on commodity market trends and developments.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in commodity trading, dealing, or advisory in a broking setup.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of commodity markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
Skills: Excellent communication, client management, and analytical skills.
Abilities: Ability to work in a target-driven environment, strong problem-solving aptitude, and proactive attitude.
