Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and investment documents.
- Advise clients on venture capital and private equity transactions, including deal structuring and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare transaction documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel as needed.
- Stay updated on corporate and financial regulations affecting private equity and venture capital investments.
- LLB from a recognised university.
- Minimum 2 years PQE in commercial transactions, contract drafting, and private equity/venture capital advisory.
- Strong understanding of corporate laws and investment structures.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Experience working with startups and investment firms is a plus.
- Exposure to high-value transactions with domestic and international clients.
