Job Description

• Experience: 8+ in cloud infrastructure/DevOps roles
• Role: Contractual
• Strong expertise in AWS and Terraform
• Experience with data platform/data engineering environments
• Understanding of financial services or enterprise data requirements
• Familiarity with GitOps and infrastructure automation best practices

Role Summary

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and data platform solutions on AWS, enabling scalable data pipelines and analytics workloads for enterprise financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure provisioning
• Manage multi-environment deployments (dev, qa, sit, uat, prod) with environment-specific configurations
• Implement modular, reusable infrastructure patterns across data domains and subdomains AWS Cloud Services Design and deploy serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions
• Configure and manage AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink)
• Implement secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager with cross-account access patterns
• Deploy and manage AWS Glue for ETL/data processing workloads Configure IAM roles, policies, and cross-account access with least-privilege principles Data Platform Engineering
• Support data lakehouse architectures (bronze/silver/gold layers)
• Integrate with Apache Airflow (MWAA) for workflow orchestration Manage database schema changes using Liquibase for PostgreSQL/Aurora
• Deploy and configure Aurora PostgreSQL clusters with proper access controls CI/CD & Automation
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment Develop PowerShell/Bash automation scripts for deployment workflows
• Implement GitOps practices for infrastructure management Security & Compliance Implement API Gateway resource policies for VPC-based access control
• Configure cross-account IAM trust relationships
• Manage encryption at rest and in transit for data workloads
