Job Description
Role Overview: We are hiring experienced and driven Civil Engineers for the construction and development of Wayside Amenities projects under NHLML (National Highways Logistics Management Limited). The role requires a blend of technical expertise, field coordination, and execution skills. The ideal candidate will oversee the development of WSA components including civil structures, parking, toilets, landscaping, signage, and utility networks at various NH corridors. Key Responsibilities: Manage the execution of WSA civil works in compliance with approved drawings and MoRTH/NHLML standards. Prepare and verify site layouts, BOQs, work schedules, and material estimates. Supervise site construction activities including excavation, foundation, RCC work, internal roads, buildings, and drainage. Ensure on-site quality control and testing protocols for all civil work elements. Coordinate with design consultants, electrical/mechanical contractors, and local vendors. Monitor project timelines and cost control while ensuring adherence to work safety practices. Liaise with PIU/RO offices of NHAI/NHLML for progress reporting, inspection, and certification. Maintain daily/weekly progress reports, photographic evidence, and DPRs. Assist in procurement and logistics for construction materials and deployment of labor/machinery. Support in obtaining site-level statutory approvals and clearances required for operations. Required Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute (Diploma holders with strong experience may also apply). 3-10 years of site experience, preferably in NH, WSA, toll plazas, or PSU infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of MoRTH/NHAI/NHLML standards, contract documentation, and construction drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills: Proactive ownership of assigned responsibilities. Effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Adaptability to work in remote project environments and meet deadlines. Commitment to quality and compliance in execution. Work Environment and Benefits: This role will require site-based deployment.
