Civil Draughtsman

Job Description

Layout and Design: Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, solar plant layouts, and site development plans.
Structural Drafting: Create detailed drawings for MMS, inverter/transformer foundations, and control rooms.
Survey Integration: Convert topographical maps and site survey data into accurate site layouts.
BOQ & Documentation: Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works and maintain document control logs.
Coordination: Collaborate with electrical and structural engineers to ensure accuracy of PV array groups, trenching, and civil infrastructure.
Revisions: Revise drawings based on feedback from site visits and design changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI in Civil/Mechanical Drafting.
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) is mandatory, with experience in Civil 3D or SketchUp preferred.
Solar Expertise: Experience with ground-mounted solar layout principles and structural detailing.
Skills: Detail-oriented with strong communication and ability to interpret engineering inputs.
