About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chip Design Engineer to join a cutting-edge semiconductor R&D team. You will be responsible for designing and verifying high-performance, low-power integrated circuits that power the next generation of computing, connectivity, and AI/ML applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and simulate digital and/or analog integrated circuits using industry-standard EDA tools.
Perform RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog) , synthesis , timing analysis , and logic verification .
Contribute to SoC design from concept to tape-out, including floorplanning, DFT, and place & route .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in architecture, firmware, layout, and packaging.
Analyze power, performance, and area (PPA) trade-offs to optimize design.
Drive design reviews , bug tracking, and silicon bring-up with test teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering , or related field.
3 8 years of hands-on experience in ASIC/SoC design or IP development .
Strong knowledge of RTL coding , digital logic design, and finite state machines.
Proficient in tools like Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics , or equivalent.
Experience with clock domain crossing (CDC) , timing closure , and power-aware design .
Familiarity with low-power design techniques and standard cell libraries .

Good to Have

Knowledge of RISC-V, ARM cores , or AI/ML acceleration architectures .
Experience with FPGA prototyping or post-silicon validation .
Exposure to Physical Design , DFT/ATPG , and EDA scripting (TCL/Perl/Python) .
