Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a glorious history in the technological sector. You will be expected to represent the technological agenda in staff meetings, managing a technology budget, and making investments to align the company with their vision for its technical needs. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.

You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert and actively participate in decision making for the current and future operations of the company as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Outlining the companys technological vision and effectively implementing technology strategies of competitive advantage
Ensuring that technical resources are aligned with the companys short and long-term needs.
Transitioning of existing technology investments & business processes to the next level
Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
Making executive decisions on behalf of the companys technological requirements.
Mentoring team members to utilize their skills and be more productive.
Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and spearheading projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP.
Aiding in the delivery of IT projects to the market.
Managing technology budgets and time frames.
Staying on top of technology trends and developments.
Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Masters degree in computer science or related field.
MBA preferred.
10+ years of working in a technological role.
5 years of managerial experience.
Proven project management and organization skills.
Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
Good team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to delegate efficiently.
Problem-solving aptitude.
Extensive industry knowledge with a futuristic eye.
