Chief E&M Expert (Testing & Commissioning)

Job Description

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate Engineer in Electrical / Mechanical / relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 20 years of professional experience after graduation.
At least 8 years of experience in E&M (Electrical & Mechanical) services for Metro Rail systems/projects.
Must have hands-on experience in Testing & Commissioning of E&M systems in at least one Metro Rail project.
Experience in coordination, supervision, integration, testing and commissioning of E&M systems and interfaces with other Metro systems.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, specifications and safety requirements applicable to Metro projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise E&M activities for the Metro project.
Review E&M designs, specifications, installation and integration works.
Coordinate with contractors and other system disciplines for effective interface management.
Oversee testing, commissioning, inspection and handover of E&M systems.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
