Job Description
To supervise skid-based plant assembly, erection, and commissioning activities (Performance trial ) for a Chemical Processing project, ensuring strict compliance with detailed engineering documents, quality standards, design specifications, and performance requirements.
" data-responsibility="- Supervise assembly and erection of skid-mounted process systems, including equipment, piping, valves, and instrumentation.
- All Engineering documents will be from Consultancy / Inhouse Engineering team
- Ensure execution strictly as per detailed engineering documents (PIDs, GA drawings, isometrics, datasheets, hook-up drawings).
- Monitor modular skid integration, alignment, interconnections, and readiness for commissioning.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams, site person / contractors, QA/QC, and client representatives.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, fit-up, and assembly quality of skid systems.
- Supervise pre-commissioning activities such as cleaning, flushing, pressure testing, loop checking, and calibration.
- Lead commissioning and performance trial runs, ensuring process parameters meet design and contractual guarantees.
- Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues during erection and commissioning stages.
- Ensure strict adherence to defence project protocols, documentation control, and site discipline.
- Maintain detailed records of assembly, inspection, testing, and performance trials.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, especially for hazardous chemicals and controlled environments.
- Bachelor s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in skid-mounted or modular chemical/process plants.
- Proven experience in site supervision, skid assembly, commissioning, and performance validation.
- Exposure to defence / high-specification / regulated projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of process systems, modular design, and engineering documentation.
