About company:

M. P. Chitale & Co. is a 78 years old firm. It has 15 partners with 3 offices in Mumbai and 2 offices in Pune. The firm is specialised in providing quality assurance services to various financial sector intermediaries such as Broking, Mutual Funds, Portfolio Managers, Alternate Investment Funds, Insurance companies, etc. The firm is looking for Chartered Accountants to work as Audit Manager for undertaking Statutory Audits of large broking firms and listed entities.

Job description:

For CA:

1. Responsible for planning and executing the above audits

2. Handling the audit team of around 4-5 members

3. Interaction with the clients on regular basis for undertaking audits, review, discussion on best industry practices, resolution of queries and changes in processes and practices that need to be carried out by the client

4. Thorough knowledge of regulations governing the above entities is expected

5. Direct reporting to Sr. Audit Manager or partner as per the qualification

6. Good writing skills for audit reports is expected

For Inter CA/IPCC ( Intermediate Cleared)

1. As per ICAI guidelines - Cleared both groups of CA Intermediate

2. Completed both ITT and OC Training

3. Strong Communication Skill

4. Excel Skill would be an added advantage.

For B.Com /M.Com

Commerce Graduates with up to 2 years of experience in audits of:

• Mutual Funds

• Portfolio Managers
