Chartered Accountant (Manager - Direct Taxation & Audit)

Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and motivated Chartered Accountants to join our growing team of 60+ professionals, where you will gain hands-on exposure to diverse and challenging assignments along with strong learning and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct Tax Litigation & Representation

• Handling assessment and appellate proceedings before Income-tax authorities
• Representing clients in penalty and stay proceedings
• Assisting in strategizing litigation matters and preparing submissions

2. Tax Advisory & Research

• Conducting in-depth research on complex technical and legal issues
• Working on domestic and international tax advisory assignments
• Assisting in structuring transactions and providing strategic tax solutions to clients

3. Direct Tax Compliance

• Preparation and review of Income-tax returns for corporates and non-corporates
• Preparation and review of Tax Audit Reports
• Managing repatriation/remittance compliances (Form 15CA / 15CB) for outbound transactions

4. Assurance & Audit

• Conducting Statutory Audits of Companies and LLPs
• Planning and executing audit assignments independently
• Client interaction and advisory on accounting practices, internal processes, and compliance matters
• Providing insights on industry best practices and process improvements

Additional Responsibilities

• Mentoring and guiding articled assistants
• Supporting the team in day-to-day professional assignments
• Preparing and sharing technical tax updates
• Conducting internal training sessions and knowledge sharing

• Strong technical knowledge of the Income-tax Act and allied laws
• Excellent communication, drafting and presentation skills
• Ability to handle assignments independently and interact with clients confidently
• Proactive, self-driven and result-oriented professional
