Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Consolidate financial data from various departments or subsidiaries.
• Providetimelyandaccuratefinancialreportstoseniormanagementandother stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes. Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual variances.
• Provide insights and recommendations for budget adjustments.

Internal Controls:

• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safe guard financial assets.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and update processes accordingly.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide insights into financial performance and key metrics to assisting optimizing business operations.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations, Implement best practices to enhance financial control processes.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and lead a team of financial professionals.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate financial information and insights to various stakeholders, including executives, board members, and external auditors.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between financial objectives and overall business goals.
• Financial Reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Present financial information to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications s Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3-5yearsofprogressiveexperienceinfinanceandaccountingroles

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards(Indian GAAP, Ind-AS) and regulatory compliance

• Experience in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit C loss accounts, and cash flow statements

• Understanding of Indian tax regulations(GST, TDS, Income Tax) and experience in compliance and filing

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally
